Matthew Palmer is a singer-songwrite base out of Roswel New Mexico. Preforming throughout New Mexico and Texas, Matthew Palmer has made a name for himself singing and playing original music as well as cover songs. Inspired by artists such as Colter Wall, Tyler Childers, Liam St John and Joshua Quimby. Matthew Palmer spent several years preforming solo before forming The Matthew Palmer Band. 

In 2024 Matthew Palmer and Brady Chambers changed the name of their band (formerly The Matthew Palmer Band) into The Mammoth Cults. 

By combining Blues and Alternative Rock the Mammoth Cults became Alternative Blues. Inspired by blues artists and bands such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King and Joe Bonamassa alongside Alternative bands such as The Black Keys and the Foo Fighters.
